A memorable holiday gift that delivers fresh delight every month

We usually send cards to our clients and colleagues during the holiday season, but during the economic doldrums of late 2008 when even regular holiday cards were scarce, we wanted something colorful that would brighten the desk of our recipients, cheering them all year long.

One of our printing partners suggested the perfect idea: a desk calendar produced on thick, textured paper tucked into a CD jewel case and opened to the applicable month. We confess we were a bit skeptical of the CD jewel case idea but our partner had not misled us yet... and then we saw a sample, and were instantly sold.

We're big fans of authentic marketing, and this calendar bears our signature clean, striking design style with some extra zip thrown in for good measure. (The images above show both the front—on the left—and back of each sheet.)

The result? We received fan mail after sending out these calendars! One recipient declared it the perfect size to carry with her in her briefcase, and uses it at meetings whenever dates must be scheduled.
