We treat people well.
Our creed can be summed up in four words: "Do the right thing." We will always seek to do right by you and by others.
Unusual for our industry
Our pledge isn't just words, it's everyday actions. We're an accredited Better Business Bureau business, and our BBB report backs up our creed. We've never received a complaint... even though we do business in an industry that isn't known for customer service. (According to the latest BBB statistics available, the web design industry ranks 107 worst out of more than 3,000 industries, and more than one-third of complaints made to the BBB about web design companies are not resolved. Unfortunately, we've heard many horror stories firsthand from clients who came to us after suffering at the hands of such web design firms, usually to the tune of thousands of dollars. It's really dispiriting.)

Our pledge to Aio Design clients
To our clients, we pledge to supply personal service and high quality work customized to your unique needs, to be genuinely friendly and professional in our relationship, and to fulfill any request that it's in our power to do, even if it has nothing to do with graphic or web design. We want to make your project easier and more enjoyable. Our goal isn't just to satisfy you, it's to delight you! (We don't just say that; we live it every day.)
Our pledge to our community
To the communities in which we do business and which our team members are proud to call home, we pledge to act as an excellent corporate citizen, paying our share of local taxes and fees in a timely manner and buying local whenever we can. We seek not only to support small businesses in our area, but to increase the standard of living for our staff and our communities by paying wages that are competitive (for areas with livable wage averages) or above average (for areas with substandard wage averages). We actively attend community meetings and complete community surveys.
Our pledge to the Aio Design team
To our own team, we pledge to provide a friendly, open, and life-enhancing workplace. We go above and beyond in sharing our firm's strategic direction and initiatives with all staff, and constantly seek their valuable feedback on items of importance. In addition to paying competitive or above average wages, we offer flexible scheduling and work arrangements. We make no bones about our desire for lifetime employees, and we actively seek to support the creative growth of each team member here.
Our pledge to Aio Design suppliers and partners
To our suppliers, we pledge to work with you to produce the best product possible and to adhere to your production guidelines as best as we are able in order to make the process pain-free and efficient for you. We will seek to nurture a long term and mutually beneficial relationship with you as a partner rather than a lowest bidder.
To our partners, we pledge to coordinate with you in a friendly, professional, efficient, and proactive way to achieve the best end result for our mutual clients. We’ll work with you to fairly and speedily resolve any issues or questions, and we'll treat you with respect as a member of the same team. We want to make your job easier and more enjoyable by doing our part well and quickly!
Our pledge to the environment
To the world at large, we pledge to use environmental and animal-friendly materials whenever possible. We go out of our way to recycle and to minimize the waste of energy. Members of our staff privately support environmental initiatives as well; for instance, our founder is an active member of her homeowners association's green committee.
Our pledge to charitable organizations
To charitable organizations, we pledge to support worthy causes whenever we are able, especially staff favorites; for instance, animal rescue is a favorite charity of Aio Design founder Tiffany Jonas. (Visit the animal rescue website to support rescued animals simply by clicking once a day; you can support efforts to combat hunger, breast cancer, child disease, illiteracy, and rainforest destruction on the same website; just click on the tabs.) Tiffany also regularly volunteers her time to educate local entrepreneurs in the Kauffman Foundation’s FastTrac entrepreneurship program on the topic of marketing, and we support the Alliance for Full Acceptance, an organization seeking equal rights for the LGBT community.
Our pledge to all people
To every individual, we pledge to welcome you with a smile and genuine friendliness. You will find no ageism, racial discrimination, disability discrimination, LGBT discrimination, or any other discrimination here. We seek to treat every individual with honor and respect, and if you ever feel this is not exactly the case, please let us know.
Ethical web design and online marketing
We adhere to the member code of ethics of the eMarketing Association:
Honesty } We do not engage in practices that are deceptive, misleading, fraudulent, or unfair... on our own website or anything we design for our clients.
Safety } We do not engage in practices that would cause risk or harm to consumers.
Privacy } We post privacy policies on our websites (and the websites we design for our clients) and strictly adhere to those policies.
Access } We post our contact information, including address and phone number, on our websites.
Customer service } We strive for the highest level of client service and satisfaction, and in the rare event there is an issue or a question, always seek an immediate resolution that is fair and satisfactory to all parties.
Ownership } We respect the intellectual property of others, not just on our own websites but in material we use on the websites we design for our clients.
Lawful } We stay informed about government statutes regarding ecommerce and strictly adhere to these statutes.
